On October 25th, the latest edition of the “Travel Hashtag” format took place in Bangkok – the twelfth in four years – choosing the Thai capital for its debut in Southeast Asia.
Sponsored by ENIT – Italian National Tourist Board and organized in collaboration with the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC), Travel Hashtag’s last stop of the year will focus on the theme #glamorousitaly.
Among the main partners of the initiative are Kelmer Group, The Mall Luxury Outlets, and Etihad.
This networking event, dedicated to the destination Italy, saw the participation of travel agents and tour operators specializing in outgoing travel, wedding planners, travel and lifestyle journalists, as well as professionals from the airline and hospitality industries.
The event took place at the INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel, which opened just a few months ago in the On Nut district, already recognized as a trend-setting venue for both the business and leisure segments in the Thai metropolis.
“We activated a wonderful collaboration with the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, with whom we have already scheduled a series of follow-up initiatives, along with a return of the format to Bangkok in 2024 to explore new themes related to tourism in this region,” explains Nicola Romanelli, founder of Travel Hashtag.
Partners for the initiative, sponsored by ENIT, included Etihad Airways, Melia Hotels International, Kelmer Group, The Mall Luxury Outlets, Italia Wedding Tourism, Italy for Weddings, Italo NTV, Palazzo di Varignana, APT Basilicata, Matera Collection, Martulli Viaggi, Comune di Cremona, Bettoja Hotels, Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel, Unique Experience, Skyline Media, Just in Case, Habitat Group, Villa Tantawan Resort & Spa, The Unusual Trip, Space Eyewear.
On October 26th, “Travel Hashtag,” together with its partners, took center stage at the business meeting “Bridging Italy and Thailand in mutual tourism development” at the Rembrandt Hotel & Suites Bangkok, involving entrepreneurs and managers from companies present in the network of the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
“The 2024 program will feature confirmations and absolute novelties that we will unveil in the coming weeks,” concludes Romanelli. “The first stop of the new year will certainly be in Italy.”
